A study that introduces creative concepts of teaching using interactive aids to help the student learn more effectively. The focus is on developing demonstrations, visual and interactive activities to help students remember and apply knowledge presented. Through presentations, activities, and projects, students will apply interactive learning ideas and creative methods. An important emphasis will be on creating a class-room atmosphere in which everyone has opportunity to learn in the way he/she learns best.
A study of curriculum theory and development, including the criteria for selection of curricula to meet the needs of various learner groups. The student will review the teaching/learning process with emphasis on lesson planning. Opportunity is given to plan and write curricular materials.
